This is inspired after I tried Costco's white peppermint pretzel crisps. This recipe is super versatile as you can add extra candy and omit items based on your taste. This would be great to bring to holiday parties, in treat bags or just a fun snack to have around.
Step 1: Line 9x13 baking sheet (or bigger) with parchment or wax paper. Spread pretzels into even layer.
Step 2: Add wafers and vegetable oil to bowl and cook by package directions. (Double boil or microwave). Once melted, add peppermint extract. Taste and add a drop more based on preference.
Step 3: Pour chocolate over pretzels and spread evenly across.
Step 4: Add a handful of pretzels across top. Sprinkle with candy cane coating and m&ms. Be sure to lightly press candy and pretzels into chocolate so they harden into the bark.
Step 5: Refrigerate for 2 hours. Remove from refrigerator and break bark into desired-size pieces.
Ingredients:
3 cups mini pretzels + a handful for decorating
20 oz white melting wafers (I use Ghirardelli)
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
3/4 cup crushed candy cane pieces (I used store bought)
1/2 cup holiday m&ms
